I have just returned from a lovely stay in this affordable hotel, reasonably large and spotless rooms. It has magnificent location to see Quinta Avenida. The venue is set in a shopping area with views of the street.

All in all, great value. Modest hotel and the location directly on the beach was absolutely perfect and best possible. Lovely building and rooms with a main queen bed. Accommodating, pleasant staff towards all guests.

Beds were too hard.

Everything was perfectly fine, excellent staff, excellent location so close to shops, restaurants and casa de cambio and the Playa del Carmen park. All I could ask for, great value. The room was a nice size and brand-new, had a very enjoyable stay for the price. Meals were great, and there was Fusion Beach Bar Cuisine near the hotel.

Hotel was spotless and charming small with super-friendly staff and unbeatable location right in 5th avenue. Location near to the Vista Caribe and the sand and restaurants/shops and public access to the beach.

Impeccably clean hotel in a nice building just next door to grass, beach nobody can to use and to the 5th Avenue on the other and numerous shops. Accommodating stuff, reasonably large room with street views. Nice bathroom and great bed. The location convenient and marvellous close to shopping area...

Had really enjoyable stay for the price with accommodating staff and excellent location close to everything. The rooms had a nice interior, and they were a nice size and brand-new. Location: the hotel was short walk to the ocean from one side and to the 5th Avenue on the other and grass, beach nobody can to use.

Great value, considering that everything is fine. It's delightful affordable hotel with fairly friendly staff. This property is in an excellent and good location, close enough to the Quinta Avenida, and the beach and 5th. An attached restaurant has great meals.

We had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe in the a double room.

Great location, near Avenida 5 and the beach. Quiet and spacious rooms. Friendly and responsive staff. Nice swimming pool and courtyard. Convenient amenities like microwave and mini-fridge. Comfy king bed with cotton linens. Delicious meals prepared by Jimena. Easy access to shops and restaurants.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The pool is nice. The restaurant (Vista al Mar) has a good breakfast, which was included in the room rate. It also has tasty and cheap mojitos! The location of the hotel is perfect between the 5th street and the beach and very near the ado bus station, from where you can take a bus E.G. to Cancún or straight to the airport. The Wi-Fi worked quite well inside the room and in the pool area, (but not at the restaurant).

We didn't like our room that much. We reserved a junior suite with 1 extra large double bed and 1 single bed, with pool or street view. The single bed was quite uncomfortable. The room we got didn't have a view at all. It was on the ground floor and from two windows we could see a wall which divides the hotel from another one, and from one window we saw the door of another room. We asked for another room, but there were no other rooms available for 3 persons. We had reserved our room 5 months in advance and I emailed the hotel a week before arrival. There are better hotels at the same price in the area.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, nice bathroom and a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a personal safe in the room. The staff were really good and assisted with public parking.

The room at Vista Caribe was a good size, and the location was convenient, being close to the beach and downtown area. The staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. Despite some minor issues with water pressure and a smaller safe, overall I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I would recommend it as a good value for money option in Playa del Carmen.

Reasonably clean hotel in a nice building just off restaurants/shops and public access to the beach, and the Quinta Avenida. Great dishes, central location in the open ocean.
